Overview

Introducing the latest addition to our fleet, the CASA barog, owned and operated by CASA Shipping and proudly registered in Qatar’s vibrant port city of Doha. Constructed by Strategic Marine (S) Pte. Ltd. in 2006, this aluminium-hulled vessel bears the hull number 144 and holds the Official Number 306/10.

 

Designed as a versatile wellhead maintenance and crew supply vessel, the CASA barog boasts impressive tank capacities, including 26.6 m3 for fuel oil, 22.7 m3 for fresh water, and 6 m3 for chemicals, ensuring ample provisions for extended maritime operations. Its deck layout features a spacious aft deck space of 67 m2, capable of bearing a deck loading of 2T/m2, equipped with a HIAB 026T crane with a safe working load of 1.9 T and a HYPAC HHAW1516 anchor winch.

 

Certified by Lloyd’s Register with notation +100A1 SSC, Work Boat, Mono, HSC, G6, the CASA-II adheres to rigorous safety and quality standards. Its propulsion system comprises twin screw fixed pitch propellers, powered by two CAT C32 engines, enabling speeds of up to 20 knots at 100% MCR.

 

Measuring 31.0 meters in length overall (LOA), 7.5 meters in beam, and with a depth of 3.01 meters, the CASA-II offers ample space for accommodation and operations. It can comfortably accommodate up to 50 individuals, including crew and passengers, with 8 bunks spread across 4 cabins and seating for 36 passengers on the deck level.

 

Equipped with essential ancillary equipment such as generators, firefighting pumps, air compressors, and navigation aids, the CASA barog ensures the safety, comfort, and efficiency of all on board. Its comprehensive radio communication and navigation equipment further enhance operational capabilities, making it a reliable and versatile vessel for a wide range of maritime tasks.
